Windows Hello Sign-In Issues Plague Users
Facial Recognition, PIN Options Disabled
Bug Hampers Access, Despite Power Outages
A widespread issue with Windows Hello is preventing users from signing in to their devices using facial recognition or PIN. This bug occurs when Windows Hello is disabled due to a power outage. Instead of the other sign-in options becoming available, as they should, they remain inaccessible.
To resolve this issue, Microsoft recommends using the Windows 10 Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. However, many users have reported that this solution has not been effective in resolving the problem.
Microsoft is currently investigating the issue and is expected to release a fix soon. In the meantime, users are advised to use a password to sign in to their devices.
